Thrifty

My grandparents have always taught me that sometimes you can find quite the bargain by shopping at thrift stores. At a recent trip to Watertown Myah wanted to venture into the thrift store they have located in their mall. The 1980s white wedding dresses caught her eye and she had to have a closer peak! After convincing her the dresses were too big for her we wandered over by the toys where I discovered this Dora cash register. Jake and I have been on the look out for a cash register but we are both picky and nothing was up to our standards at a decent enough price. After a little bit of elbow grease and disinfectant this toy is like brand new! At under $5!! The only function that doesn't work is the intercom. Otherwise it adds, and the red laser light even works on the hand-held. Myah likes playing "grocery store" and it's a chance to learn about money.

Only 2 1/2 and she already knows how to use the credit card machine!

Tyler likes to play too!
