Summer so far

I sort of stink at taking pictures lately. Here are some random ones from our summer so far. (which unfortunately is ending far tooooo fast!!)

Lots of time spent playing outside in our yard.

Dress up

 We've been trying to get a play set built for the kids. The first part of summer was so wet, we couldn't do any digging. One evening when I was at work, Jake put the following together for the kids to play with.

Jake has done so much work on this playset! LOTS of digging and LOTS of sweating!! He's a rock star. I try to help inbetween needy kids, but lets face it, I don't do much digging at work so he's just better at it ;-)

 

We attempted to dye Myah's hair with kool-aide, however she was quite impatient so it didn't turn out super great. She smelled good though!

 

Enjoying 4th of July cupcakes on the deck. We went to the neighbors for the 4th and all set off fireworks. The kids hardly watched because they were too busy playing! We had fun though.

New truck Mommy said no to forever, finally gave in. Keeps them busy so we can get stuff done!

We haven't done anything super exciting this summer. Just a lot of bumbing and playing. We've had a few play dates with a friend from Myah's class and her little brother which has been fun. We haven't even gotten in enough swimming because of weather!! Summer is ending far too fast. We hope yours has been good!
